is a poet, scholar, and founder of Lost & Found: The CUNY Poetics Document Initiative. He teaches at Queens College and The Graduate Center, CUNY. His most recent books are: neither wit nor gold (Ugly Duckling Presse, forthcoming) and A Little History (Factory School Press, forthcoming.)

Ammiel Alcalay

is the author of two books of poetry, The Far Mosque (Alice James Books), winner of Alice James Books' New England/New York Award, and The Fortieth Day (BOA Editions, 2008), as well as books of novels and essays. He teaches at Oberlin College and the Stonecoast MFA program and is a founding editor of Nightboat Books.

Kazim Ali

Wesleyan will publish Rae Armantrout's next collection, Money Shot, in January of 2011. Armantrout's most recent book, Versed (Wesleyan, 2009), received the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Critics Circle Award. It was a finalist for the National Book Award. Armantrout is Professor of Poetry and Poetics at the University of California, San Diego.

Rae Armantrout

is the past director of the M.F.A. Poetry Program, Brooklyn College, and has published three books of poetry, Dreams of a Work, North Star, and The Gate of Horn. A fourth book, Freedom Hill, (TriQuarterly) is due out in Fall 2011.

L.S. Asekoff

is the author of Conspiracy of Leaves (Plain View Press). She aspires to subvert the status quo and hopes to have however a small part in creating a more compassionate geo-political paradigm. Her recent poems have appeared in No Tell Motel, Big Bridge, Tampa Review, Barrelhouse, Poems Against War, and Poets for Living Waters. She lives in Ithaca.

Wendy Babiak

lives in Arcadia, CA. He has published two collections of poems, The Bird Hoverer (2007) and Lovely, Raspberry (2010). John Ashbery writes, â€œAaron Belz's poetry reminds us that poetry should be bright, friendly, surprising, and totally committed to everything but itself. Reading him is like dreaming of a summer vacation and then taking it."

Aaron Belz

is an international writer who works across media, languages and art forms. She has presented projects at MoMA, Tate Modern, and The Hammer Museum. She is a Visiting Fellow at the University of Copenhagen in Spring 2011. Her volume of new and out of print pieces, Meddle English, has just been published by Nightboat Books.

Caroline Bergvall

is a founder and curator of the Emergency reading series at the Kelly Writers House, archived on PennSound, works as the co-editor of the international poetics journal Jacket2, and lives in Philadelphia, where she's teaching literature and completing a PhD at the University of Pennsylvania. Recent work has appeared in Aufgabe and ONandOnScreen.

Julia Bloch

is the author of gowanus atropolis (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2001) and five chapbooks of poetry. Brolaskiâ€™s second full length book, Advice for Lovers, is forthcoming from City Lights in spring 2012. Brolaski lives in Brooklyn where xe is an editor at Litmus Press, curates vaudeville shows and plays country music with Juan & the Pines.

Julian T. Brolaski

writes poems, draws comics and tells jokes. She is the author of Either Way I'm Celebrating (Birds, LLC; 2011) and three chapbooks, most recently THE BOWLING (Greying Ghost, 2010) with Brandon Shimoda. With Julia Cohen she curates The Bad Shadow Affair, a reading series in Denver.

Sommer Browning

is the author of ten chapbooks and one full-length book, Triggermoon Triggermoon, from Black Lawrence Press. She is the Poetry Editor of Saltgrass and the Associate Editor of the Denver Quarterly.

Ryan Doyle May's work has appeared in Bombay Gin, Ganymede, Pax and others. His chapbook, The Anatomy of Gray, was recently released through Corresponding Society Press. He has MFA in Creative Writing from The New School.

Ryan Doyle May

is the poetry editor of Absent and the author of The French Exit (Birds, LLC) and Thanks for Sending the Engine (Kitchen Press). Her poems have appeared in Colorado Review, Denver Quarterly, The Laurel Review, Pleiades, Salt Hill, and Sentence, among other journals. She currently lives in Boston.

Elisa Gabbert

is the author of the poetry collection Late in the Antenna Fields (Futurepoem, 2011), as well as a book of essays and articles entitled Another Future: Poetry and Art in a Postmodern Twilight (Wesleyan University Press, 2006). He is the recipient of a 2009 NYFA Fellowship in Poetry and lives in Brooklyn.

Alan Gilbert

is the author of Helen: A Fugue (Belladonna Elder Series #1, 2008), Some Clear Souvenir (O Books, 2006), and Music or Forgetting (O Books, 2001), as well as seven limited edition chapbooks. She lives in Brooklyn, New York, and is the founding editor and director of Litmus Press.

E. Tracy Grinnell

is the author of twelve books of poems; her latest is Names (Norton, 2009). Her essay collection Unauthorized Voices, was published by the University of Michigan Press in 2010. She received many awards for her poetry and translation, most recently the American PEN Voelcker Award for poetry in 2010. She is a Chancellor of the Academy of American Poets.

Marilyn Hacker

Bob Hicok's most recent book is "Words for Empty and Words for Full" (Pitt, 2010). His previous collection, "This Clumsy Living", received the Bobbitt Prize and has been translated into German by Luxbooks.

is the author of more than twenty books of poetry and prose, most recently The Lyrics (Graywolf, 2007), and The Winter Sun: Notes on a Vocation (Graywolf, 2009). Howe is the recepient of numerous awards, including the Ruth Lilly Poetry Prize, and has lectured at Tufts University, Emerson College, Columbia University, Yale University, and MIT.

Fanny Howe

was born in 1988 in Zanjan, northwestern Iran. A self-taught English speaker, he is currently pursuing a masterâ€™s degree in English literature while striving to produce vigorous poetry.

Mohsen Jabbari

is a British-Indian writer who lives in Colorado. The author of, most recently, Schizophrene (forthcoming, Nightboat Books), she is writing a new book, Ban en Banlieues. "Ban" is a puff of diesel, a warp of black smoke on the orbital road surrounding London. Nude pages are, thus, smudged. Prehensile. Dirty. A way to predict writing but not writing itself.

Bhanu Kapil

is the author of This Isa Nice Neighborhood (Letter Machine, 2010) and the chapbooks Is It the King? (Effing, 2006) and Riverside (Longhouse, 2011). Matuk serves on the editorial team at FENCE and helps bring writers from all over into Dallas with the nonprofit WordSpace. He lives in east Dallas with the poet Susan Briante and their daughter.

Farid Matuk

is the author of Mule (Cleveland State University Poetry Center, 2011), and two chapbooks, One Neither One (Octopus Books, 2009) and In Canaan (Rescue Press, 2010). Find his work in The Best American Poetry 2010, Fence, Agni, Denver Quarterly, Typo and others. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in English at the University of Iowa.

Shane McCrae

was born in 1976 in Nis, Serbia. A theology graduate, pop-culture maven, student of martial arts, poet and translator, his first book of poetry Neon Insomnia was published by Matica srpska in 2007, in the "First Book" edition. His work has appeared widely in journals and anthologies in Serbia and Croatia. He lives in Nis with his family.

Zeljko Mitic

Famous for his electrifying performances, Kiwao Nomura is revered in Japan where he has been awarded major literary honors including the Rekitei Prize for Young Poets and the prestigious Takami Jun Prize. Spectacle & Pigsty, Selected Poems of Kiwao Nomura, translated by Kyoko Yoshida & Forrest Gander, will appear in the U.S. in Spring 2011.

Vanessa Place

is the author of a poetry collection, Conduit (Black Goat/Akashic Books 2008), and a chapbook, no isla encanta (dancing girl press 2007). Her second full-length collection, Black Peculiar, won the 2010 Noemi Press Book Award for Poetry and is forthcoming in fall 2011.

is the author of The Room Where I Was Born, Sight Map, and Pleasure (the latter just released this past fall from Ahsahta Press). On the graduate faculties of Mills College and University of San Francisco, he lives in San Francisco, where he also makes books by hand for his micropress, Albion Books.
